Essential Qualification: According to Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Agricultural Services (Third Amendment) Rules 2019 For direct recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant Group C in the service, the candidate must have a bachelors degree in agriculture from a recognized institution or university established by law in India or equivalent to a bachelors degree in agriculture, such as - B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. Forestry / B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), B.Sc. (Home Science) / Four-year degree in Community Science awarded by the University of Agriculture and Technology Is necessary.

Preferential qualification:

According to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Agricultural Services Rules, 1993, other things being equal, preference will be given in the case of direct recruitment to a candidate who has

1- Must have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

2- Must have obtained B certificate of National Cadet Corps.
