Department of Fisheries invites applications for the following posts via Deputation :

Post Name : Research Officer (Fisheries)

Essential Qualification : Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territory Administrations or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Universities of Recognised Research Institutes: -

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department;

(ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level 09 (R 53100-167800) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or, (iii) With four years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or, (iv) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and,

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Masters degree in Zoology with specialisation in Fisheries or Master of Fisheries Science or M.Sc. in Marine Biology or M.Sc. in Industrial Fisheries or M.Sc. in Aquaculture or Master of Science in Fisheries Science from a Recognised University or Institute.

(ii) Three years experience in the field of Fisheries development including policy and planning, formulation and technical evaluation of plan schemes, their monitoring and implementation from a Central or State Government or Union territory Administration department or Public Sector Undertaking or Recognised University or Research Institute or Statutory or Autonomous organisation
