Ministry of External Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant (MER Division)

Essential Qualification:

(i) Applicant must have strong written and spoken communication skills and presentation skills in English

(ii) Applicant must possess Masters in Economic/Political Science/International Relations (with a specialization in Trade/Economics/International Trade and Intellectual Property Rights related matters).

(iii) Applicant must be proficient in the use of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).

(iv) Extra credit will be given for specialized domain knowledge in Multilateral Development banks/Multilateral Trading System/Intellectual Property Issues.

Desirable:

(i) M.Phil/Ph.D on related issue is desirable.

(ii) Experience in creation of Excel/CRM databases.

(iii) Previous experience in MEA
