Central Ayurveda Research Institute Kolkata invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacognosy/Botany)

Essential Qualification: Post-graduate Degree (M.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy/ M.Sc. (Medicinal plant) or M.Sc. (Botany) from a recognized University/ Institution.

Desirable :

  1. Sound knowledge of drug development, Pharmacognostical techniques, drug standardization and Experience of any research project by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization with at-least one-year research experience in the field of medicinal plants.

  2. Sound knowledge of preparation of Herbarium samples, cataloguing and maintenance of museum samples of plants as well as crude drugs.

  3. Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles /technical reports etc.,

  4. Publications in peer reviewed journals.

  5. Working knowledge of computer applications.

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry)

Essential Qualification: Post-graduate Degree (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/M.Sc (Chemistry) from a recognized University/Institution.

Desirable:

  1. Sound experience in Drug analysis, techniques including handling instruments like

  2. HPTLC/HPLC, knowledge on chemical studies related to drug development. Experience of any research project by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization with at-least one-year research experience in the relevant field.

  3. Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles /technical reports etc.,

  4. Publications in peer reviewed journals.

  5. Working knowledge of computer applications.

Post Name: Programme Assistant (Ayurveda)

Essential Qualification: B.A.M.S Degree from any Recognized University.

Desirable: Knowledge in Computer application such as MS Office; Good communication skills, writing ability and interpretation skills.
