Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training invites applications for the following posts via Deputation :

Post Name : Mate

Essential Qualification

(1) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department;

(2) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay matrix level-6 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

(3) Certificate of Competency as Skipper Grade-l or Skipper Grade-ll or Mate of Fishing Vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

Essential Work Experience :

(1) Three years practical experience on board Fishing Vessel as Mate or Bosun after obtaining competency certificate of Mate fishing vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

(2) One year practical experience as Mate or Bosun on board a fishing vessel of 24 meters or more in length.
