Post Name: Project Associate-I
Essential Qualification:
MSc in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy from a recognized University or equivalent.
MSc in Horticulture with specialization in Fruit Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
MSc in Agriculture/ Horticulture with specialization in plant pathology/ entomology from a recognized University or equivalent.
B Tech in Electronics and Communications/ Computer Science Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
B Tech in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
B Tech Computer Science/ MSc in Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in field experimentation, development of agrotechnologies, and Agrometeorology, GIS and Remote Sensing, Crop System Modelling (APSIM/ DSSAT/ STICS), Spatio- temporal crop simulations, Image Processing.
Candidates having experience in field experimentation, development of agrotechnologies, and conduct of on farm and frontline demonstration trials of Apple, High Density Apple Plantation, disease identification and management of Apple, fruit breeding, Spatio-temporal crop simulations, crop disease modelling.
Candidates having experience in disease identification, pathogen/ pest infestation dynamics, management of pests/ diseases. Isolation and culture of pathogens.
M Tech in Electronics and Communications/ Computer Science Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience in machine learning and deep learning tools like LSTM, conLSTM, CNN, Image Processing/ Analytics, predictive models based on IoT, Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell, Unix, MATLAB, etc.) for test automation and data analysis Knowledge of inter-module communications protocols.
M Tech in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Land and Water Management Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering/ from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience in geospatial techniques, GIS modelling, ENV using Remote Sensing,Image Processing, Lidar data Processing or watershed modelling (SWAT/ HECRAS), predictive models based on IoT, Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell, Unix, MATLAB, etc.)
Experience in good programming skills, advanced python, machine learning tools, Big data, AI/ML based predictive modelling based on IoT and Data Modelling
