Post Name: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer)

Essential Qualification:

(i) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate examination from a recognised board.

(ii) Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes OR in Hindi in 65 minutes, on computer.

Post Name: Head Constable (Ministerial)

Essential Qualification:

(i) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate examination from a recognised board.

(ii) 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. (35 w.p.m in English and 30 w.p.m in Hindi correspond to 10500 KDPH in English and 9000 KDPH in Hindi respectively with an average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer).

Recruitment Details

Border Security Force invites application for various posts. Total 323 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A.5/101/Pers(Rectt)/Min Staff/BSF/2021. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 25 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Government Servant/Departmental Candidate, Ex-Servicemen, Widow and Divorced Women will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at All India level. There will be a Physical Test. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at New Delhi, Delhi, India, 110011.
