Central Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Officer

Essential Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/ MBA(Finance).

Essential Work Experience:

  1. Total experience of four to seven years (of which at least three years of experience should be in fixation of tariff) in the field of financial modelling for tariff determination, should be fully conversant in the latest accounting, forex, taxation matters.

  2. Preference will be given to the candidates with relevant experience in Electricity Regulatory sector.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in carrying out economic analysis and use of statistical techniques as related to power sector

  2. Engineering qualification would be an added advantage.

 

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/ MBA(Finance).

Essential Work Experience: Zero to three years experience in the field of financial modelling for tariff determination, should be fully conversant in the latest accounting, forex, taxation matters.

Desirable:

  1. Should have experience of tariff finalization in the Regulatory Sector or Power Sector.

  2. Experience in carrying out economic analysis and use of statistical techniques as related to power sector

  3. Engineering qualification would be an added advantage.
