Post Name: Project Associate-II

Essential Qualification:

  1. B.E. /B.Tech /M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology/Food Engineering/Food Processing Technology/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Biotechnology/ Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized university

  2. 2 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organization andScientific activities and services

Desirable Qualification:

  1. Strong background of design of experiments (DoE), chemical analysis, theoretical calculations, problem formulation and solving skills, data analysis & interpretation

  2. Experience in edible coating materials for shelflife extension and nutritional value

  3. Experience of food coating techniques

  4. Expertise in characterization instruments and techniques related to food coatings such as Texture Analyser, Rheometer, Surface tensiometer, Droplet size analyser, O2/CO2 respiration analyser, colour analysis etc

  5. Candidate with good academic record will be preferred

  6. GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred
