National Institute of Technology Karnataka invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

(a) B.E/B.Tech Civil/Chemical/Biotechnology with M.E/M.Tech., in Environmental Engineering or M.E/M.Tech Chemical Engineering or M.E/M.Tech Industrial Biotechnology or Equivalent Selected through a process described through any one of the following a) Selected through National Eligibility Tests CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE OR

(b)Selected through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc OR

(c) M.Sc in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Environmental Science or Equivalent having First class from 10th onwards.

Desirable:

1. Candidates having knowledge and experience in microbiology, analysis of water and wastewater

2. A strong commitment and motivation to pursue research and good communication skills
