ICAR Indian Agricultural Research Institute invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Vegetable/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialisation in Vegetables/Plant Breeding/Genetics/ Plant Biotechnology with 4 or 5 years of Bachelors degree.
Essential Work Experience: Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable: Research experience of handling field trials, molecular & biochemical techniques and disease screening.
Post Name: Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Vegetable/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Plant Biotechnology/ Life Science.
Essential Work Experience: 2 years research experience on post M.Sc qualification. Must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ equivalent qualification or the selection process for the Masters Degree through a national level exam conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutes i.e. DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Place of Interview: The Division of Vegetable Science, IARI, New Delhi.
