Essential Qualification:

• First class in MSc (Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Breeding and Genetics) Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSI-UGS NET including lectureship and GATE selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER, etc. or

• PhD (Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Breeding and Genetics) Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSI-UGS NET including lectureship and GATE selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER, etc.

Desirable: Hands on experience in molecular techniques, NGS, gene editing, ECS banana and tissue culture
