Post Name: Vice Chancellor

Essential Qualification:

• A distinguished scientists or academician with Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agriculture/ Veterinary or related fields.

• More than 10 years experience in the grade of professor or equivalent position in any academic organization of repute.

• Administrative experience of at least 03 years in handling affairs of any university or a national institution as Dean/ Joint Director/ Director or equivalent. Or

• 05 years experience at the level of Head of the Department/Division or equivalent position in any academic organization of repute.

• Minimum of 20 research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals including books.

• Demonstrated experience in leadership.

Desirable Experience:

• Good understanding of financial management including revenue generation, planning and fiscal control.

• Demonstrable success in developing and executing National and International collaborative arrangements.

• Experience of working in Statutory Authorities of a university such as Board of Studies/Academic Council/ Executive Council/Board of Management.

• Experience of handling accreditation procedures, quality assessment and guiding students for Masters and PhD.

• Experience of international exposure through participation in meetings, workshops, seminars, or conferences held outside the country.
