Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in the respective subject/language from any recognised University as per following provisions:-

  • Tamil, Malayalam, Arabic, Telugu and Hindi: Bachelors degree with main subject in the respective language.

  • BEd or BT of any recognised University.

  • Should have studied the particular regional language (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) as one of the subjects in the Secondary level. However, this qualification is not required for the Trained Graduate Teacher in the discipline of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as these languages are regional language of Union Territory of Puducherry.

Recruitment Details

Directorate of School Education Puducherry invites application for various posts. Total 40 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 3326/DSE/Estt-Il/D/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 32 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: Divorced Women, Women, Widow, SC/ST Categories, Ex-Servicemen, Person With Benchmark Disability and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota . After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Puducherry, India, 605009.
