National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Translator

Eligibility: Candidate holding the post under the Central Government or State government or Union Territories-

  1. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

  2. With six years service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level -5 in the Pay Matrix or

  3. Equivalent in the parent cadre or department

Essential Qualification:

  • Masters degree in Hindi with English as an examination at the degree level from a recognized University; or

  • Masters degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognized University; or

  • Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, in Hindi Medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognized University; or

  • Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, in English Medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognized University; or

  • Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level from a recognized University; and

  • Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from a recognized institute or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa from a recognized institute of Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.
