Essential Qualification:

1. An eminent scholar having a PhD degree in Economics, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in peerreviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per criteria given in Appendix-II, Table 2 (enclosed)

2. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates

3. An outstanding professional, having a PhD degree in Economics, from any academic institutions (not included in A above)/industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the Economics, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience

Desirable:

• Demonstrable experience in successfully collaborating and/or leading research and or evidence-based policy analysis as part of a research project or programme

• National and International experience in partnering with Government Institutions and/or Multilateral Institutions

• Candidates work should be in the areas of: Information and Communication Technology, Information Economics, Industrial Organisation, Productivity, Government Policy and Regulation, Service Sector Growth and other related fields
