Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services invites applications for the following posts via Deputation.

Post Name: Scientist-C

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree. 

Essential Work Experience: 03 (three) years of research experience in one or more fields of Ocean Observations, Ocean Data Analysis, Ocean modeling and Data assimilation or experience in teaching (at Graduate or Post Graduate level), research and development, planning, supervision or training in fields of Physical Oceanography.

Desirable: Doctorate in Physical/ Marine/ Chemical Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ with research experience in any of the fields mentioned at point (ii) above and Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Ferret, GRADS, ODV etc) and programming languages (eg: Matlab, C, Fortran etc.).
