Central Bureau of Investigation invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption:

Post Name: Deputy Superintendent of Police

Essential Qualification: 

(A) Officers under the Central Police Organisation:

(a)(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(ii) With six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the pay band-2 of 9300- 34800 plus grade pay 4600 or equivalent, in the parent cadre or Department;

And

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience;

(i) Bachelors degree from a recognized university;

(ii) Three years experience in enquiry or intelligence investigation work.

(B) Officers Organisations; Or under the State Police

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(ii) With six years service in the grade rendered med after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2 of 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i)Bachelors degree from a recognized university;

(ii) Three years experience in investigation of criminal cases.

Or

(B) Officers of Central Excise and Customs or Income Tax, or persons working under Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings;

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) With six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2 of 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Bachelors degree from a recognized university;

(ii) Five years experience in vigilance or investigation or intelligence work.
