National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Post Name: Professor (Sugar Technology)

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Semi- Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organisations:-

1. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

2. With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-12 (78,800-2,09,200) in the Pay Matrix in the parent cadre or department; or

3. With ten years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-11 (67,700-2,08,700) in the Pay Matrix in the parent cadre or department; and

4. Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognised University or Institute, with:-

(i) Associateship in Sugar Technology from a recognised University or Institute; or

(ii) Post-graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognised University or Institute; and

5. (i) Twelve years experience of teaching or research or advisory experience in the field of Sugar Technology; or

(ii) Twelve years practical experience of working in a sugar factory in a managerial capacity

Desirable:

1. Doctorate in Chemistry or Doctorate in Sugar Technology, or Fellowship in Sugar Technology from a recognised University or Institute;

2. Experience in drafting and editing of scientific and technological reports and reviews.
