ICMR National Institute of Malaria Research invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Scientist-C
Essential Qualification: Candidate should possess 1st class Masters Degree in Life Sciences/ Public Health from a recognized university with 4 years experience or 2nd class M.Sc +Ph.D degree in Life Science/ Public Health subject from a recognized university with 4 years experience.
Desirable: Candidate should possess a Ph.D degree in Life Sciences/Public Health subjects. Peer reviewed scientific papers published in international journals would be a plus. Preference will be given to those who have experience in Public Engagement and Communications. Strong scientific writing and verbal skill are required.
Post Name: Scientist-D
Essential Qualification: Candidate should possess 1st class Masters Degree in Biological/Life Sciences from a recognized university with 8 years experience Or 2nd class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Biological/Life Sciences from a recognized university with 8 years experience.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D degree in the field of Biological Sciences.
2. Deep understanding of Public Health in context of malaria.
3. Strong scientific writing and verbal skills.
4. Work experience in Malaria, Public Health, Operational, Implementational Research related & Vector Borne Diseases/Malaria
Post Name: Data Entry Operator (Grade-B)
Essential Qualification:
1. Intermediate or 12 th pass in Science stream from recognized board with DOEACC A level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
2. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Desirable:
1. Expertise in using graphic designing software (Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator)
2. Experience in maintaining websites.
3. Experience in MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc.
4. Experience in Data Management.
