Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade invites applications for the following post via Deputation:

Post Name: Deputy Salt Commissioner

Essential Qualification: 

• The applicant should be:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis. OR

(ii) With 2 years regular service in posts in the scale of 3000-5000 (IV Pay Commission corresponding to Level-11 (Pay Band-3) [15600-39100 with Grade Pay of 6600/-] or equivalent. OR

(iii) With 2 years regular service in posts in the scale of 3000-4500 (IV Pay Commission corresponding to Level-11 (Pay Band-3) [15600-39100 with Grade Pay of 6600/-] or equivalent; and

• Masters degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent; or Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent; and

Essential Work Experience: 8 years experience in a Chemical Industry (including Salt Industry).

Desirable: PhD Degree in Chemistry or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology relevant to EQ (ii) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
