1. B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering recognised by Kerala Agricultural University.

2. M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering recognised by Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed).

3. Pass in NET examination in relevant subject conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/AICTE or equivalent test approved by UGC.

Desirable: Ph.D in relevant subject.
