Division of Genetics ICAR-IARI invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in basic science (Life Sciences) or /post graduate degree in professional courses (LifeSciences including Agricultural Sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS,DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc
Essential Work Experience: Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and handling rice crop, biochemical techniques and proficiency in bioinformatic tools.
Post Name: Project Associate I
Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in basic science or post graduate degree in professional courses (Biotechnology/Genetics/ Plant Breeding/Biochemistry/Botany or other related fields of plant sciences
Essential Work Experience: Experience in molecular and biochemical techniques
Post Name: Scientific Administrative Assistant
Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline
Essential Work Experience: Working experiences in rice related field and lab operations.
