Kerala Public Service Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Non Vocational Teacher (Junior)
Essential Qualification:
Post-graduate Degree in Commerce or Business Economics or Economics with not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification or
BSc Co-operation and Banking (Four year course) with not less than 60% marks awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University or equivalent
BEd Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University of Kerala
In the absence of persons with BEd Degree in the concerned subject BEd Degree acquired after a regular course of study in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the universities in Kerala
In the absence of persons with BEd Degree as specified in item (i) and (ii) above persons with BEd Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala
In the absence of BEd Degree holders candidates having Masters Degree with not less than 50% marks and who have passed SET will be considered Preference will be given to candidates having PhD or MPhil or qualified as Junior Research Fellowship/NET The Teachers appointed under this provision will have to acquire BEd Degree at their own expense within 5 years from the date of en - try in service
Persons who have acquired MEd in the subject concerned after a regular course of study and recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala are exempted from BEd qualifications
Must have passed the State Eligibility Test for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government
