National Health Systems Resource Centre invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Senior Consultant (Legal)

Essential Qualification :

(1) Minimum qualification of graduate degree in Law from a reputed University.

(2) Knowledge and experience of handling court matters at the level of High Court and Supreme Court of India.

(3) Familiarity with the public health system, and Government Schemes such as National Health Mission and State Health Societies.

(4) Excellent communication skills, drafting skills and good working knowledge of computers.

(5) Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and working knowledge of Hindi are required and should have computer knowledge in MS Office and other applications.

(6) Strong interpersonal relations, communication and team-work skills

(7) Formal educational qualification, experience and age could be relaxed when there is a published work of high quality or whenever there is work experience of specific relevance.

Essential Work Experience : Minimum 4-6 years of experience in legal matters out of which 3 years with the government at national or state level and is a must, familiarity with the public health system, and relevant government policies/ strategies, particularly National Health Mission. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NHM / RCH at National or State level.

 

Post Name : Senior Consultant (Monitoring and Evaluation)

Essential Qualification :

(1) Post graduate in any discipline (preferably in Public Health/ Social Science/ MSW/ Statistics)

(2) High level of computer proficiency, specifically - familiarity with commonly used Windows, MS Office software and softwarepackages

(3) Proficiency in data analysis using software tool like SPSS, data triangulation, performance, knowledge of public health, Statedemographics, population etc

(4) Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

(5) Willingness to travel to States / UTs and districts to provide technical assistance and ability to work on different assignmentssimultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments

(6) Preference would be given to the candidate having experience of working with Centre / State / UT health department.

Essential Work Experience :

(1) At-least 5+ years of work experience in health systems strengthening, program planning or implementation under NHM orHigh Priority Districts (HPDs)

(2) Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports

(3) Experience in framing and designing Supportive Supervision tools, collation, compilation and analysis of large data sets

(4) Experience in designing RMNCH+A factsheets.
