Post Name: Director (Communications and External Relations)

Essential Qualification: Masters Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed, from a recognised University/Institute with consistently good academic record. Provided, for candidates with benchmark disabilities, the minimum aggregate mark is 50% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale.

Essential Work Experience:

  1. At least fifteen (15) years of overall work experience in leadership/strategic roles;

  2. A compelling vision of the role to improve strategic partnerships with prospective students, current students, alumni, governments and funders;

  3. Significant, relevant and first-hand experience in a higher education communications role; including public relations, media management and outreach;

  4. Successfully built and led diverse teams;

  5. Incredibly organized, responsive, and able to effectively manage multiple projects at once and on tight deadlines;

  6. Demonstrated sensitivity, imagination, and effectiveness in responding to challenging issues;

  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  8. Excellent entrepreneurial skills;

Desirable: Masters degree in communications or master’s degree in business administration
