Project Elephant divison invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment

Consultant C

Essential qualification: Consultant C should have Master degree in life sciences or equivalent or PhD from a recognized University and more than 10 years up to 15 years experience in research/development/Academic/Government institutions/Organization in Environment/Forestry & Wildlife sector.

OR

Retired Government employees with

(i) Grade pay of Rs. 8700/- and above

(ii) experience in the relevant field for a more than 10 years up to 15 years.

Desirable: Person having PhD/ M. Phil with the knowledge of computer applications and desktop applications. Strong Communications skills, both oral and written, analytical and presentation skills and preparation of project reports/reviews/notes/briefs etc. Preference will be given to applicant who have field experiences of handling human elephant conflict related issues, other elephant conservation related works and working with State Forest Departments.

Senior Consultant

Essential qualification: Senior Consultant should have Masters degree in in Life sciences or equivalent or PhD

from a recognized University. Minimum of 15 years of experience in wildlife management/ Research/ Development/ Academic/ Government institutions/Organization in Environment/Forestry & Wildlife sector.

OR

Retired Government employees of the level of Joint Secretary with experiences in wildlife management, especially in elephant conservation issues would be eligible for senior consultant.
