North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Scientist-C (Medical)Essential Qualification:
(i) Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year Research and Development/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with two years Research and Development/teaching experience in the required subject from recognised university
(ii) MBBS degree recognised by MCI or equivalent degree from recognised university with 4 years Research and Development/Teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree. OR
BDS/BVSc and AH degree recognised by DGI/VCI with 5 years Research and Development/teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS/BVSc degree
Desirable:
(i) MD in the relevant subject from a recognise university for the candidates with first class relevant degree.
(ii) Additional Post doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in recognised institute.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data management.
Post Name: Scientist-B (Non Medical)
Essential Qualification:
(i) First class MSc Microbiology/MSc MLT in Virology/MSc Life Sciences/MTech Biotechnology from recognised university/institute with 2 years of experience in Research and Development/teaching experience in relevant subjects after MSc degree. OR
(ii) Second Class MSc Microbiology/MSc MLT in Virology/MSc Life Sciences/MTech Biotechnology Plus PhD from recognised university/institute with 2 years of experience in Research and Development/teaching experience in relevant subjects after MSc + PhD. OR
Desirable:
(i) Preference will be given to candidates having Doctorate degree in relevant subjects from recognised university/institutes for candidates with First Class relevant degree.
(ii) Additional Post Doctoral/training experience in Virology research from recognised Institute(s).
(iii) Knowledge of computer application or business intelligence tools/data management.
Post Name: Laboratory Technician
Essential Qualification: BSc/Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Desirable:
(i) Preference to the candidates having 3 years of experience in Microbiology work.
(ii) Knowledge of computer application or business intelligence tools/data management.
(iii) Training of virology or molecular techniques obtained will be preferred.
