ICMR National Institute of Epidemiology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Project Research Assistant

Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate degree in Public Health/ Sociology/ Social work/ Anthropology/ Nutrition/ Home Science or any other relevant subject from a recognized university with 3 years work experience from a recognized institution.

  • Masters degree in Public Health/ Sociology/ Social work/ Anthropology/ Nutrition/ Home Science or any other relevant subject from a recognized institution.

Desirable:

  • 2 years of experience in field data collection.

  • Experience in Qualitative data collection, review of literature, etc.

  • Knowledge of Tamil will be an advantage.

Post Name: Project Technician-III

Essential Qualification:

  • 12th pass in science subjects and 2 years’ diploma in MLT or 1 year DMLT plus 1 year required experience from a recognized organization or 2 years field/ laboratory experience.

  • B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years of experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience in collecting blood samples from participants in community settings.

  • Experience in processing and testing biological samples.

  • Working knowledge of Computer Applications.

  • Proficiency in Tamil to interact with community.

Recruitment Details

ICMR National Institute of Epidemiology invites application for various posts. Total 3 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number NIE/PE/Advt/April/2023/14. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 35, depending on the specific post.
