Department of Urban Planning Chandigarh Administration invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Essential Qualification: 

 (a) (i) Officers under the Central/State Govt./Union Territories. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or

(ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto, on regular basis in the scale of pay of R.7220-11660 (as per 4th PPC, 10300-34800+5000 G.Pay as per 5th PPC equivalent to Level 16 as per 6th PPC). or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, or

(iii) With three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto, on regular basis in the scale of pay of 6500- 10500 (as per 5th CPC, 9300-34800+4200 G.Pay as per 6th CPC equivalent to Level-6 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, and

(b) Possessing the following qualification and experience;

(1) Degree from a recognized University or Equivalent;

(2) Three years experience in Administration/Establishment work.

(ii) The Department Superintendent Grade-1 in the scale of pay of 7220-11660 (as per 4th PPC, 10300- 34800+5000 G.Pay as per 5th PPC equivalent to Level 16 as per 6th PPC) with two years regular service will also be considered along with the outsiders and in case he/she is selected for appointment to the post, the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion, (the department officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly deutationtists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
