ICAR Indian Institute of Millets Research invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Research Manager

Essential Qualification:

• Masters Degree in Food Technology/Food Science and Nutrition/Microbiology/ Plant Bio- Chemistry/ Agribusiness Management/ Food Engineering and allied fields with minimum of 60%marks

• PhD degree will be an additional qualification

Essential Work Experience: 2-3 years research experience in relevant field 

Desirable:

• Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, Food Chemistry, postharvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle incubation,startups, proven ability to analyze data and documentation skills

• Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge in MS-Office and computer usage

• Willing to travel for field visits to micro processing units from various states

• Prior experience in working with premier institutes such as NIFTEM/CFTRI/IIT/IIMs/NIT/Premier SAUs etc will be an added advantage

Post Name: Research Executive

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Food Chemistry or Biochemistry/Agrl Biotechnology/Instrumentation and allied fields with at least 60% marks secured in the qualifying degree

Desirable: Research experience in food analysis, protein digestibility, bioavailability studies, data compilation and analysis/ Research publications in relevant field/ Proficiency in English, and MS-Office / Willingto travel
