Telecom Regulatory Authority of India invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant Grade-II

Essential Qualification: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Science/Commerce/Arts/Law from a reocgnized University/Institution or; Membership of the Institute of Charted Accountants of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Post Qualification Experience:

• An officer retired from Centre/State Ministry/Department/Organization/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU should preferably have experience of working in the field of broadcasting sector and should have worked on a post equivalent to the post of Under Secretary or equivalent and above in Centre/State Ministry/ Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU in pay level 11-13 in the pay matrix under 7th CPC or equivalent pay scale. Department/Organization/ OR

• An officer retired from Centre/State Ministry/Department/Organization/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU should have at least 3 years of experience as Section Officer or on equivalent post preferably having experience of working in the field of broadcasting sector.

Post Name: Consultant Grade-I (Legal)

Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree in Law from any recognized institution.

Desirable:

• Postgraduate Degree in Law from any recognized institution.

• Experience in Telecom Broadcasting regulatory matters.

 Post Qualification Experience :

1. At least three years experience in drafting, handling briefs, briefing Senior Counsel and attending and arguing before different Courts, including experience in legal research work.

2. Should have a working knowledge of Computers and proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

3. Proficiency and working knowledge of Legal Softwares such as SCC online, Manupatra etc. for collecting and collating judgments of different Courts of Law on a given subject.

Post Name: Consultant Grade-I (Copy Editor)

Essential Qualification: Masters in English Language and Literature/Humanities/Social Science from a reognized university.

Post Qualification Experience: At least three years experience preferably within a publishing environment.
