Indian Coast Guard invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Sarang Lascar

Essential Qualification:

(i) Matriculation or equivalent

(ii) Certificate of competency as Sarang form the Government recognized Institute or equivalent.

Essential Work Experience: Two years experience as Sarang-in-charge a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.

Post Name: Engine Driver

Essential Qualification:

(i) Matriculation or equivalent

(ii) Certificate of competency as Engine Drive from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.

Essential Work Experience: Two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.

Post Name: Civilian Motor Transport Driver

Essential Qualification:

(i) 10th Standard Pass.

(ii) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.

(iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

Essential Work Experience: Should have at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles.
