National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Director (Agricultural Marketing)

Essential Qualification:

For Direct Recruitment:

(i) Post Graduate in Agricultural Marketing/ Agri Business Management/Agricultural Economics/Marketing Management with a minimum of 55% marks of equivalent grade.

(ii) Ph.D. in the concerned subject from a recognized university and with a minimum of 10 publication as book/ Research papers/Policy papers.

(iii) Consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Masters degree or equivalent in Agricultural/Marketing/Agribusiness Management/Economics/Marketing Management from a recognized University.

(iv) Ph.D. in the concerned subject from a recognized university or experience in handling Research consultancy projects in marketing of agricultural produce which is significant and can be recognized at national/International level as equivalent to Ph.D.

For Deputation:

(i) Persons under Central/State Government/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/PSUs/Statutory, Semi Government or Autonomous organizations.

(ii) Holding analogous posts on regular basis.

Essential Work Experience:

For Direct Recruitment:

(i) 10 years of experience in the area of Agricultural Marketing with focus on Training, Teaching, Industry, Consultancy and Research covering different components of marketing regulation, Policies, grading and Standardization and Marketing planning and designing, Market Information, Aggregation, Price Discovery Mechanism etc. out of which 5 years should be in the cadre of Associate Professor in the grade pay of 9000/- or Pay Matrix of 13A (7th Pay Commission).

(ii) The candidate should have 15 years professional work experience in the field of supply chain management, management of contract farming, farmer producer companies, future market and spot market etc. of which at least 8 years should be at a senior level comparable to that of Associate Professor of university.

(iii) Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization.

(iv) Published work, such as research papers, patents field/ obtained, books and/or technical reports.

(v) Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/ Research Students of supervising R&D projects in industry.

For Deputation:

(i) With 6 years of service in the posts in the pay matrix level 13A or equivalent and possessing qualifications mentioned at Essential (A).

Desirable:

(i) Teaching research, industrial and/ or professional experience in a reputed organisation;

(ii) Published work, such as research papers, patents field/obtained, books and/ or technical reports; and

(iii) Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/Research Students or supervising Research and Development projects in industry.

Post Name: Assistant Director

Essential Qualification: A first class or High Second Class Masters degree from any recognized University in Zoology/ Agricultural Zoology.

Essential Work Experience:

(i) A minimum of 3 years experience in training/ teaching/ research preferably in Central/ State level Institutes.

(ii) Extensive experience in teaching/training in agriculture related institutions.

Desirable:

(i) Ph.D. or its equivalent from any recognized university in above disciplines.

(ii) Extensive experience in teaching/training in agriculture related institutions.
