Post Name: Trained Graduate Teacher (English)

Essential Qualification:

• Four years integrated degree course (B.A.B.Ed) with English of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate OR

• Bachelors Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject (English) / combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course OR

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (English)/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course.

• B.Ed Degree (B.Ed degree not applicable for four years integrated degree course, ie B.A.B.Ed) from NCTE recognised institutions / university.

• Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Paper-2, conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Desirable:

• Higher percentage of marks in higher qualification and experience of working in English Medium residential public Schools shall be considered for award of prescribed weightage.

• Achievements in NCC / Sports / Co and extracurricular activities, etc.

• Knowledge of Computer Applications.`
