West Bengal Public Service Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Translator (Bengali)

Essential Qualification:

(a) A second class Masters or Honours degree in English or in Bengali of a UGC recognized University.

(b) Ability to make translation from English into Bengali.

Desirable: A degree in Law of a UGC recognized University

 

Post Name: Assistant Translator (Nepali)

Essential Qualification:

(a) A second class Masters or Honours degree in Nepali of a UGC recognized University.

(b) Ability to make translation from English into Nepali.

Desirable: A degree in Law of a UGC recognized University.

 

Post Name: Assistant Translator (Santhali)

Essential Qualification:

(a) A second class Masters / Honours degree in English or in Santhali of a UGC recognized University.

(b) Masters / Honours degree in English (Santhali as an elective subject at Graduation Level) or Masters / Honours degree in Santhali (English as an elective subject at Graduation Level).

(c) Ability to make translation from English into Santhali.

Desirable: A degree in Law of a UGC recognized University.

Recruitment Details

West Bengal Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 14 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 09/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Government Servant/Departmental Candidate and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules.
