National Institute of Technology Srinagar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Essential Qualification: 

• The applicant must have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Science/Engineering/Technology preferably with an MBA/relevant certification courses from a reputed Institution.

• The candidate must have clear understanding of local, national and global start-up ecosystems and the ability to find ways to collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders for advancing the objectives of GIF, NIT SRINAGAR.

• The candidate must possess strong communication skills; have a hold over English language, preferably with suitable proficiency in Urdu/Hindi and Kashmiri languages. He/She is expected to be well suited in conceptualizing, compiling, and putting together papers, presentations, documents, proposals, etc.

• The candidate must have demonstrated interest to interact and connect with people and should preferably have a strong professional network in corporate/startup ecosystem.

• Preference would be given to applicant with previous experience of working at reputed Incubator/Accelerator collaborating with government departments/ agencies/allied organizations/Private sector/venture Capitalists, along with the demonstration of fundraising for non-profit organizations.

• Applicant must mandatorily have a clear understanding of local, national and global startup ecosystems and the ability to find ways to collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders for advancing the objectives of the DST/NIT.

Essential Work Experience: He must have at least 10-15 years of total work experience out of which 05 years of experience should be at government/government recognized institutions with the start-up sector, either as a start-up founder /co-founder / core team member and/or as a stakeholder of start-up ecosystem or in managing/administering a similar type of incubator knowledge of the startup/Innovation/Entrepreneurship domain.
