National Testing Agency invites applications for JOINT CSIR-UGC NET December 2023

Exam name: JOINT CSIR-UGC NET

Educational Qualification: 

  • MSc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and 50% (without rounding off) for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates

  • BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS PhD program with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS 50% (without rounding off) marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST Third gender Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply Candidates with Bachelors degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years Candidates possessing only Bachelors degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor

  • BE/ BS/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor BSc (Hons) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply

Recruitment Details

National Testing Agency invites application for various posts. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 27, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Person With Benchmark Disability and Women will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota . The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at India, 442305.
