Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agriculture Chemistry or Soil Science or Agriculture Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Master Degree in Forestry or Botany or Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognised university or institute

Essential Work Experience: Ten years Experience in the field of soil and water conservation or soil health management or rainfed or integrated farming and or soil survey or problem soil reclamation or project formulation including agroforestry projects in Central or State Government Department or Union Territory Administrations or recognised research institutions or agricultural universities or public sector undertaking or semi-government or autonomous or statutory organisations

Desirable: Doctorate Degree in any of the disciplines mentioned in essential qualifications or Master Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognised university or institute
