Odisha Staff Selection Commission invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Laboratory Assistant

Essential Qualification:

  1. Must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject, or

  2. Must have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination in non-language subject, or

  3. Must have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above, or

  4. Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department

  5. The candidate in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination for the post must have passed:

  6. Three years regular Diploma in 1 Division in respective branches for Laboratory Asst (Branch) as detailed at Clause-2 (a) from AICTE approved Diploma Institutes or its equivalent.

  7. Three years regular Diploma in 1 Division Mechanical Engineering discipline from AICTE approved Diploma Institutes or its equivalent. Junior Laboratory Assistant (Physics) &

  8. B.Sc. in Physics Hons. (PCM) from a recognised University or its equivalent with 1 Division for Laboratory Assistant (Physics) / B.Sc. in Chemistry Hons (PCM) from a recognised University or its equivalent with 1" Division for Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry)

Recruitment Details

Odisha Staff Selection Commission invites application for various posts. Total 64 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number IIE-132/2022-5883/OSSC. The minimum age limit is 21 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Person With Benchmark Disability and Women will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Ex-servicemen, PWBD Quota, Unreserved and Sports Quota . The examination will be conducted through Offline and Online mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, 751013.
