Essential Qualification:  The candidate should have a Doctorate Degree in the area of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science or any other related interdisciplinary area and should be an outstanding scientist with high academic eminence both nationally and internationally and demonstrated administrative capabilities, and be willing to engage with science across the spectrum of research carried out at TIFR-Hyderabad.

Essential Work Experience: 

At least 15 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized national / international universities / research institutes / corporate or industrial R&D Labs etc. in the domain areas of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science or any other related interdisciplinary area as faculty / scientist. Research experience will also include research carried out during the post-doctoral work.

Scientists Governments/Universities/Recognized or Technologists Research working in Institutions/Semi the Central/State Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations in India, possessing the essential educational qualification and experience mentioned above and

(i) Holding analogous post or

(ii) with 1 year regular service in level 14 or equivalent.
