Tata Institute of Social Sciences invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Research Associate
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Social Work/Population Studies/Public Health and allied fields. Graduation in any medical field MBBS/AYUSH/Allied will be considered as added advantage.
Essential Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in research projects in the field of HIV/AIDS is desirable. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of working with High-Risk Groups (HRG) population especially Injectable Drug Users (IDUs), Targeted Interventions projects and Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST), ICTC and ART Centres. The candidate should have research skills in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection, management, and analysis. Conversant in the local language in addition to English. Well-versed in reporting and documentation. She/he shall have experience conducting FGDs/IDIs with HRGs and Bridge populations. The candidate should be sensitive towards issues relating to HRG communities and PLHIVs.
