Office of the Textile Commissioner invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Economic Officer

Essential Qualification: 

1. Officers under the Central Government or State Government of Union Territory Administration or recognized research institution or Universities or public sector Undertakings or semi-Government organisations or statutory or autonomous bodies.

2. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the Parent Cadre/Department.

3. With Six years service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on a regualr basis in posts in level 5 in the pay Matrix 29200-92300 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

4. Degree with Economics or statistics or mathematics as a subject from a recognized University.

Desirable: 

1. Post Graduate Degree in Economics or statistics or Mathematics as a subject From a recognized University.

2. Diploma or Certificate Course in Computer Operation.

Essential Work Experience: One year experience in dealing with economic and Financial Problems, collecting Economic intelligence and preparing financial or Costing reports.
