Translational Health Science and Technology Institute invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Technical Officer-I
Essential Qualification:
1. PG Professional degree in Life Sciences with one year of post qualification experience in the relevant field. or
2. PG degree in Life Sciences with two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: The incumbent will be responsible for:
1. Cell-culture-based assays, virus neutralization assays, molecular and serological assays in BSL2/BSL3.
2. Experience in quantitation of viral stocks in cells, viral immunoassays, viral neutralization assays, quantitative PCR, and molecular virology/immunology techniques is preferential.
3. Validation of assays and performance of assays for, regulatory clearance of diagnostics and vaccines.
Post Name: Technician
Essential Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Science OR DMLT from the recognized University with minimum one year of post-qualification working experience in a recognized laboratory in the area of infectious diseases.
Desirable: Proven experience and knowledge in basic molecular biological and bacteriological techniques like DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, preparation of buffers, media and competent cells, protein purification will be plus.
Post Name: Lab Assistant
Essential Qualification: Standard 12th in Science Steam from the recognized board.
Desirable: Assistance in experiment, preparing buffer solutions, chemical/reagent record maintenance etc
