Essential Qualification:
for Medical Candidates:
1 . A medical qualification included in schedule I and ll or Part ll of the third schedule of IMC Act 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part - ll of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Act.
2. Post Graduate Medical qualification i.e., MD/MS/Moh/DM or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto OR Post Graduate Diploma e.g. DPH/DMRD/DCP or equivalent thereto.
3. Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
Experience: Minimum Teaching / Research Experience of 20 (twenty) years out of which 15 years should be in a recognized institute after Post Graduation.
for Non- Medical Candidates:
1. Masters Degree in the field of Nursing Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology Optometry and Radio imaging Technology from a recognized University.
2. PhD in any of the field mentioned at 1 above from recognized institute i.e., recognized by UGC /AICTE/lNC/Pharmacy Council.
3. Must be registered with concerned Statutory Council.
Experience: 20 (twenty) years Teaching / Research Experience out of which 15 years should be in a recognized institute after PhD in any of the above fields.
