National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior/ Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech. or equivalent in relevant branch of Electronics/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Applied Physics/ Optics and Related branches. Fresh graduates, expected to complete the degree by July 2024, can also be eligible to apply. OR

  • Graduate in Applied Physics/ Electrical /Electronics and Photonics science or related area, with GATE qualification or CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant professorship), or any Nationallevel examination conducted by Central Govt.

Desirable: Strong background and interest in applied electromagnetics, Microwave engineering, and Antenna design. Proficiency in electromagnetic CAD simulation software.
