ICMR National Institute of Virology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification:

• First class Masters Degree in Life Science: specialization-Microbiology/ Biotechnology Virology/ Bioinformatics or

• Second class Masters Degree in above subject with Ph.D.

Desirable:

• Prior experience of working in disease diagnosis using molecular (PCR, RT-qPCR, DNA sequencing, sequence data analysis) and immunological assays (ELISA, Immunofluorescence, neutralization) and animal cell culture will be preferred.

• In addition, candidates with experience of patients clinical data collection, documentation and analysis using different softwares are desirable.

• Prior experience working in virology laboratory will be preferred.

Post Name: Project Technical Support-III

Essential Qualification:

• Three years Graduate in Life Science: specialization required-Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Virology with three years experience

• Masters degree in the above subject

Desirable:

• Working experience of molecular and immunological diagnostic techniques, cell culture and bacterial cultures will be preferred.

• Candidates having prior experience of working in virology laboratory are desired.

Post Name: Project Technical Support-II

Essential Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects AND Diploma (MLT/DMLT) with five years experience

Desirable:

• Prior experience of molecular and immunological diagnostic techniques, cell culture and bacterial cultures.

• Candidates having prior experience of collection of human clinical samples/ clinical data, and entry will be preferred.
