Essential Qualification: Officer of Central Government

1. Holding analogous Post on regular basis or

2. With three years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on regular basis in post in pay in the pay matrix level-5

3. With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on regular basis in post in pay in the pay matrix level-4.

4. Masters degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English, with English/ Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.

5. Masters degree of a recognized in any subject other than Hindi/ English, with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/ elective subject at degree level.

6. Masters degree of a recognized in any subject other than Hindi/ English, with Hindi/ English medium and English/ Hindi as compulsory/ elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.

7. Bachelors degree of a recognized University, with Hindi and English as compulsory/ elective subjects, or either of the two as medium of examination and the other a compulsory/ elective subject plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and Vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/ State Government Offices, including Government of India Undertakings.
