ICMR Vector Control Research Centre invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post :

Post Name : Consultant (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification :

Professionals having PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with research & development experience and published papers

OR

Retired Government employees with Grade pay of 4600/- and above and having at least 20 years experience with PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with research & development experience and published papers

Desirable :

(1) Knowledge or research experience in medicine, biology, parasitology, epidemiology or surveillance of infectious diseases specifically in vector-borne diseases or lymphatic filariasis

(2) Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology.

(3) Experience of conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis

(4) Knowledge or previous experience in data management. Experience in supervision/teaching of research teams, students or other staff members.

(5) Good publication record which demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases, particularly vector borne diseases.

(6) Strong analytical and excellent writing and verbal skills for communication.

(7) Understanding and carrying out advanced statistical analysis

(8) Good fluency and worked extensively with statistical packages, R and Stata.

(9) Fluency or working level in English
