ICMR National Institute of Research in Tribal Health invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Project Scientist-C (Medical)

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years-experience or MBBS degree with 4 years-experience in medical subjects after MBBS Degree.

Desirable: Post graduate degree/ diploma in public health/ pathology / microbiology/ clinical subjects from recognized University. Additional Post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized Institutes. Knowledge of Computer Applications /Data Management. Knowledge of Biosafety and research ethics. Candidates with experience/ inclination of working in rural tribal area will be given preference.

Post Name: Research Scientist- II (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification: B.Tech degree in relevant subject with six years R&D / Teaching experience in the relevant subject after B.Tech degree. Or First class master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class masters degree. Or Second class M. Sc. + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc. + Ph.D

Desirable:

(i) Doctorate degree or M.Tech degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.

(ii) Additional Post doctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).

(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.

(iv) Experience in Genomics, NGS & Bioinformatics. Track record of first author research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals & Data analysis.

Post Name: Laboratory Technician

Essential Qualification:

(i) 12th Pass in Science subject with two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one-year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization or two years filed/ laboratory experience in Govt. recognized Organization.

(ii) B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

Desirable: Preference will be given to those who have experience in microbiology and molecular biology, animal handling and related work, good understanding of biosafety.
